Welcome to Johannesburg! Upon arrival, you'll be transported from the airport to our accommodations. Since most flights arrive in the evening (at 7 pm or later), the first night is simply for you to rest and align your sleep schedule with the local timezone. We'll have dinner on-site and enjoy a restful evening. 

The first full day in Johannesburg is grounded in peace and purpose. We'll enjoy a beautiful breakfast on our expansive property after you've enjoyed the morning to yourself with options of a morning hike, yoga, sauna, massage, swim or just a peaceful private morning. We'll then enjoy a special lunch at Nirox Sculpture Park and finally our UNESCO World Heritage Site for a tour through caves where some of the first humans were discovered. 

Today, we'll get our geographical bearings and deepen our cultural understanding. First, we'll embark on a city tour through Johannesburg and then explore Soweto, the birth place of Amapiano, Nelson Mandela and the catalyst for change during anti-apartheid movements. We'll also visit the apartheid museum. In the evening, we'll enjoy a special Pan-African food and storytelling experience from a renowned storyteller who once shared his kitchen with Anthony Bourdain. 

In the first half of the day, you'll have the option of enjoying a morning of rest, shopping, or join us for one of the special features of the Imagine Experience, imagining your future life in johannesburg through some of its best real estate offerings.

In the late afternoon, we'll catch our flight to Durban and settle in that evening on the Indian Ocean side of South Africa.   

Today, we'll explore one of the most beautiful landscapes in South Africa and learn more about different cultures that make this country so special. Durban is the home of Zulu culture as well as the largest population of Indians outside of India.

We'll explore the contribution of these cultures through local experiences. Then we will rest and enjoy the ocean as we prepare to celebrate the New Year that evening. 

What better way to start the New Year than to sounds of the warm ocean water of the Indian Ocean? We'll have a slow morning followed by a special sound healing and intention-setting experience as we prepare and manifest for all the abundance 2025 has for us. 

We'll catch a late morning flight to Capetown. After we settle in,  we'll have free time to enjoy the beach or a walk on the promenade before sunset on top of Table Mountain and our evening events.  

Just like in the previous cities, we'll start the day getting a feel for the landscape with a city tour, a tour of Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was held. 

In the evening we'll have the option of enjoying our own company or participating in afternoon and evening programming by some of our friends over at Afrofuture. Whatever we decide as a group, your costs will be covered. 

We'll start by exploring Boulder Beach and visiting the Penguins. And then we'll prepare for the culminating event of the experience, where we spend the afternoon in evening in the wine lands with only the second Black-Owned wine label in Franschhoek, Velisa Wine. Also woman-owned, Velisa Wine collaborates with us to host our intimate evening with professionals from South African community with wine and music.

They say all good things must come to an end but we don't allow that energy over here! Most likely, your international flight won't leave until a little later so you'll enjoy breakfast and a slow morning on the ocean as you prepare for a smooth departure.
